I'm back in Bristol, having ended my term last Thursday.
So what's been happening?
Well, we've had our house Christmas meal and present swap, which was great fun, but felt "grown up" which was nice! We had a Freshers party at our house for the four "adopted" freshers, which Sarah H and Gill came to. We had party food, more presents, and games. Lastly, there was the King's Cell groups Christmas meal and quiz night, with a nice Christmas dinner and 5 quiz rounds, including the Music Intros round created by Ben, Dan and me. So Christmas has been going for about the last month. I was also asked to help as a steward at the University carol service. That involved greeting people, handing out candles and books, being there in case of an emergency, taking collection and lighting the candles. It was fun, but hard to focus on the service.
It is kind of strange to be home, as, honestly, home is feeling more like a visit, than coming back to my home. I'm not surprised about it, I just didn't expect to feel that way. The good things about being home are: home cooked meals, seeing my family, and getting the post that I had ordered, like the Bourne Ultimatum and the Oceans 13. :D
I am also now a proud owner of the 1:18 F2007 signed Kimi Raikkonen championship presentation car. That's a mouthful...have I lost any one yet?? See the photos below:
I have the usual family Christmas plans, plus the Youth Group meal, and hopefully seeing a few friends.
I will try to update after Christmas!
