Well, I've realised that I haven't really put much on here reacently, so I now have to force my brain to co-operate so that I can write this.
Uni has generally been going ok, it has been harder, but I'm not sinking....yet! My main struggle is my Japanese, which I'm finding great fun, but have a few trouble remembering everything, and there's a lot of it!!
I've been away for the past two weekends. Last weekend, I was up in Hedge End, near Southampton, about a half hour train journey, to visit some friends, Richard and Ruth, that we knew from back home. They now have two children, Michael who is 4, and Philippa, who is 1 and a half, and my dad's God daughter. I spent the weekend enjoying being a child again! Michael got a second hand Tracy Island on the Saturday, so spent most of the weekend playing with that. And he let me join in and rescue Thunderbird 3 from Philippa. We also watched some Thunderbird's :). It did also give me a chance to have a girly catch up with Ruth on Saturday evening.
The weekend just gone, I was in Southampton, staying with my friend Karen from home. It was her 21st Birthday on Sunday, and she had a party on Saturday evening. It was Japanese themed with food, drink and costumes with that theme! I was a fun evening, and I got to see some of her friends that I met last year, as well as meeting some more of her friends this year. The only down side was that I have a cold, and really wasn't feeling that great and was sat in the corner for most of it, kinda zoned out. But no one really minded. They did laugh at me when we played "stick the piece of paper on Sonic". We were all blind folded, and most people had a shot and were spun three times. Due to not feeling great I asked if I could miss that bit. I still couldn't walk in a straight line!!
That just about brings me up to date. I've probably missed something, but never mind!!
